Dr. John Hasenkopf, affectionately known as Dr. Jack or Dr. H, is passionate about helping his patients achieve radiant, youthful smiles while embracing healthy lifestyle choices. With a deep appreciation for the art and science of cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Hasenkopf specializes in creating naturally beautiful aesthetics through minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Hasenkopf’s journey to becoming a dedicated dentist began with a strong foundation in education and athletics. He earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary, where he excelled both academically and as a Division 1 gymnast. Driven by a passion for helping others, he pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. There, he gained the knowledge and skills that now enable him to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages.

At JBH Smiles, Dr. Hasenkopf’s practice philosophy centers on ensuring every patient has an exceptional and enjoyable experience at the dentist. He continually seeks feedback and innovative ways to improve the patient experience, striving to create a welcoming and trusted dental home. When he’s not at the office, Dr. Hasenkopf enjoys living an active lifestyle. From playing tennis and pickleball to exploring the great outdoors, he finds joy in staying fit and connected with nature. At home, he loves spending time with his beloved dog, Mable, and his two cats, Sissy and Marley.
